Donations will be used to support a new Perpetual Legacy Fund to sponsor university students in Sri Lanka.
The fund will use interest accrued to educate undergraduates. For example a deposit of Rs20m (£50k), would generate Rs4m interest per annum, i.e. Rs300,000 pm. This sum is enough to educate 25 undergraduates for ever.
